Contents of project:
There are 4 major parts of this project including receiving area for dock, loading area for tank car, process area for LNG tanks and area for auxiliary facilities. The scope of services for consortium for ACRE had included engineering design, equipment & material supply, procurement service for the client, management for construction, personnel training, test run, etc for 2 sets of LNG tanks with capacities of 20,000m3
Features of major design:
-Pursuant to the requirements of client and project, the consortium for ACRE had successfully combined Chinese +Japanese process engineering technologies for LNG tanks with material from Belgium and equipment from Singapore and Japan.
-DCS,ESD,FGS ,CCTV and PLC systems had been provided for fire-fighting, electrics , telecommunication and control systems.
Scope of contracting:
ACRE had been responsible for the following work based on engineering plus Project management (E+PM):
-Detailed engineering for LNG Peak Shaving Terminal Expansion project except for hydro-structure for dock.
-Short-list for suppliers, making bidding documents and assistance to client for bidding and other procurement services
-Examine and approval including signature work for 2 sets of LNG tanks with capacities of 20,000m3
- Project management for the complete project except for hydro-structure for dock.
Project Highlights:
The consortium for ACRE had successfully became the winner among the fierce competition with consortium for China Huanqiu Contracting & Engineering Corporation+ Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Japan +BLACK&VEATCH, USA, and Consortium for North China Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute Co.,Ltd.+ WHESSOE, England. The consortium for ACRE had also got acceptance and approval from bid evaluation committee including clients.
