(ACRE for short), with share held by China Minmetals Group Corporation (MINMETALS for short) -one of the Fortune Global 500 Enterprises - and China Metallurgical Group Corporation  (MCC for short), provides customers with comprehensive solutions and full life-cycle services in engineering construction and production, including project planning, technical consulting, engineering, project supervision, equipment procurement, EPC, remote technical support, operation and maintenance in the fields of coke-making, chemicals, refractory materials, lime, automation, municipal work, environmental protection and so on.

As a national-level enterprise technology center, ACRE has always been the leading company in China providing advanced technology and high quality service in the construction of coking plant and refractory plant. Besides, ACRE is the sole member in the coking, refractory and lime unit of China Metallurgical Construction Team, taking the responsibility of leading the design and construction of coking plants in China to a higher level.

ACRE boasts experts in coking and refractories engineering in China, with more than 900 employees in technical research & development, consulting, engineering and project management with over 18 years working experience, among which more than 90% engineers have been working with engineering for large projects. It therefore laid a solid foundation for an outstanding competitiveness in the system integration. 

ACRE establishes the R&D platform for theoretical investigation and industrial tests of coking engineering technology and intensively uses the simulation system consisted of fluid, mechanical structure and industrial process simulation software, based on which a series of internationally advanced engineering technologies and devices with proprietary intellectual right were developed for coking, refractory and lime industries. The technologies of “6.78m stamp charging battery”, “6.98m top charging battery”, “CDQ”, “multi-process gas treatment” and “1,000t/d lime rotary kiln and lime shaft kiln incineration” developed by ACRE are internationally advanced with proprietary intellectual rights.

ACRE have edited and co-edited two international standards andmore than 80 national or industry standards; and have more than 350 national authorized patented inventions, 1,300 utility model patentsand over 30 software copyrights. ACRE have applied for 17 PCT patents, covering India, Japan, Turkey, Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia, Russia, etc. Up to now, 6 patents have been granted in the United States, Japan, India and Russia. ACRE obtained China Patent Awards for 5 consecutive years includes 1 China Patent Golden Award, and was awarded “Top 10 Most Influential Enterprises in the Field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)” and recognized as State Level IPR Demonstration Enterprise. ACRE has won more than 100 Prizes for Progress in Science & Technology of national and provincial or ministerial level, including one 1^st prize and one 2^nd prize of National Science & Technology Progress Award, and 17 others, as well as one special award and three 2^st prizes of metallurgical technology in steel industry, ACRE was also awarded with one of the fifth batch of national single champion enterprises in manufacturing industry.

With a brand of more than 60-year history in China, ACRE’s market share accounts for over 80% of large iron & steel enterprises. ACRE has successfully completed over 1,000 engineering and consulting projects and over 350 EPC projects. Internationally, ACRE has successfully exported its technologies to India, Myanmar, South Africa, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Brazil, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia, Zimbabwe, etc., designing and contracting 51 coke oven batteries (with total capacity of 30.9 million tons per annual). Proportion of newly signed oversea contracts once exceeded 50% of our total contracts. ACRE also won trust and respect from international customers, such as TATA Steel, Sumitomo Metal, ArcelorMittal,JSW, Evraz, Erdemir, JSP and Usminas, establishing a strong Chinese brand image in the international coking market. ACRE now has two wholly-owned overseas subsidiaries in India and Turkey. With them as the foundation and the opportunity of “Belt and Road Initiatives”, ACRE will unswervingly keep expanding overseas market.
