On May 16, 2017, Chemical products business division of ACRE, ACRE shanghai and Chifeng Yuanyi Biomass Technology Co., Ltd. signed the engineering contract for the “Demonstrative Project of Cyclic Utilization of Agriculture Renewable Energy Resources for Zhangjiagang Yuanhui Biomass Technology Co., Ltd.”, marking that ACRE practically entered into the field of biomass new energy.

Different from the traditional biogas technology, the biomass natural gas technology adopts advanced process. The materials are fed and discharged continuously during fermentation. Therefore, the biogas projects can be built in large scale. With adoption of decarburization, desulfurization and dehydration technologies, marsh gas is purified into biomass natural gas. The final product natural gas meets the national standard requirements on town gas and auto gas.

Since its establishment in 2012, Chifeng Yuanyi Biomass Technology Co., Ltd. has been being engaged in biomass natural gas projects with ecological conversion as core technology, and under the operation mode of specialized division of labor, standardized management, scale production and market-oriented operation. The technology “Gas making by mixed fermentation of corn stalk and domestic animals faeces” developed by Yuanyi is in the absolute leading position in China. By far, Yuanyi has successfully completed a pilot plant to produce biomass natural gas in Alukeerqin, Chifeng. This project is the only one in China producing biomass natural gas, and qualified biomass natural gas has been produced successfully.

Entering into the field of biomass new energy and undertaking the engineering of demonstrative project indicate that ACRE has opened a door in the field of new energy source development, opened a window in the fields of solving the three rural issues, building beautiful countryside, and constructing new cities and towns, and paved a new road for ACRE’s strategic transition.
