In July 12th, 2020, the 6.78m stamp-charge battery designed by ACRE officially came into stage of construction for Ankun New Energy Co., Ltd., of Shanxi Sunlight Group. This is the second 6.78m stamp-charge battery of large capacity launched in China. The first one is built in Shandong Xintai Zhengda New Energy Group, which was put into production on April 15th, 2019.

　　This project is to build a modern large-capacity coking plant of first-class technological level in the world, with metallurgical coke capacity of 3.69 million t/a and with configuration of 4x70 ovens 6.78m COG-firing stamp-charge battery, adopting the technologies of leading level in the world in aspects of refractory oven block, coke oven machinery, equipment installation, automation, and energy-saving and environmental protection, etc..

　　The 6.78m stamp-charge battery is of cutting-edge technology that ACRE has been committed to in recent years, in particular some technologies are taking the leading position in the world in terms of emission reduction from the source, low energy consumption for cokemaking, refractory tightness and long service life, etc.

　　The Shandong Xintai project is the first user integrating the following technologies:

　　（1）Multi-stage heating in combustion chamber；

　　（2）Waste heat recovery from ascension pipe;

　　（3）Pressure regulation of single coking chamber;

　　（4）Positive pressure heating-up technology；

　　（5）Automatic battery heating technology；

　　（6）SCP (stamp, charging & pushing) machine；

　　In Shanxi Ankun coking project, the refractory oven block structure is optimized according to the feature of COG-firing.

　　Air amount ratio can be adjustable outside the battery for stage-heating with purpose of low emission discharge, which is initiated for stamp-charge battery not only in China but in the world. It has features of adjustable free space temperature, even distribution of oven heating in vertical direction, low NOx formation, energy conservation and easy adjustment for oven heating, etc..

　　Up to now, ACRE has signed engineering contracts for 6.78m stamp-charge batteries, 16 blocks in total, who is the only one designer of 6.78m stamp-charge battery and with top engineering capability for cokemaking in the world.
