ACRE can supply two types of heat recovery coke oven technologies:

• Stamp-charging horizontal oven type of heat recovery coke oven, and

• Stamp-charging vertical oven type of heat recovery coke oven.

Horizontal Heat-recovery coke oven

This kind of coke oven has been adapted in China since 2000 and now about sixty plants have been built with total output of 30 million tpa. The main features are: 

• Non recovery

• Product: coke and electrical power and/or steam

• Stamp-charging from pusher side

• 4 kinds of quenching process can be choosing: Horizontal-flat quenching/Traditional quenching/Second-pushing quenching/Dry quenching

• Using more weak-coking coal to produce high-quality coke

• Minimized emission

Vertical Heat-recovery coke oven

This kind of coke oven has been adapted in China for nearly ten years, it is developed from horizontal heat recovery coke ovens with less space occupation. The main character:

• Non recovery

• Product: coke and electrical power and/or steam

• Less coke burned loss and less investment

• Conventional stamp-charging

• 2 kinds of quenching process can be choosing: Traditional quenching or Dry quenching

• Minimized emission
