The #⁴ DeNOx unit of the flue gas DeSOx & DeNOx project was put in operation at 21:00 p.m. on September 23rd, 2018. It is an EPC project completed by ACRE for the coking plant of Xilaifeng Coking & Chemical Co., Ltd. of Shenhua (Inner Mongolia) Coking Co., Ltd. By far, the two DeSOx & DeNOx units of the project have been put into production, meeting the time schedule of the client.

A combination of Na2CO3 semi-dry FGD, particulate matter recovery, low temperature SCR and waste heat reclamation (reuse) is adopted for the project. At present, the coking plant (Phase Ⅱ) of Xilaifeng Coking & Chemical Co., Ltd. has four blocks of 5.5 m COG-fired  stamp charging coke oven JNDK55-05 (4×55 ovens),with capacities of 2×96 m t/a. ACRE has designed two nos. flue gas DeSOx & DeNOx units for the project, namely units #3 & #4, with  treatment volume of 250,000 Nm3/h each. After the treatment, the concentration of SO2 in the flue gas will be no more than 30 mg/m3, NOx no more than 500 mg/m3, ammonia no more than 10 mg/m3, and particulate matters no more than 15 mg/m3.

It is the second EPC project that ACRE has worked on with Shenhua (Inner Mongolia) Coking Co., Ltd. Successful commissioning of the two units has laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two companies.
