Coming out of 590 entries, the Gas Treatment Project of JSW Dolvi India by ACRE won the Honorary Award of the Special Category in the 2018 Hexagon PPM Golden Valve Awards Competition in September 2018. It is the first time that ACRE has won the prize.

Hexagon PPM has been the global leader in providing informational and technical solutions. Evaluated by ARC, it occupies the largest market shares in the globe, with products covering 90% of power plants, maritime factories and petrochemical plants in China.  ACRE also involves the Intergraph SmartPlant PPM of Hexagon into the design work.

Every year, Hexagon holds the Hexagon PPM Golden Valve Awards Competition, awarding the most innovative and executive entries with 3D design related to process, power, offshore, shipbuilding and mining industries. The Golden Valve Awards has great impact and contributes to promoting the client’s global influence. Therefore, many companies take part in it. In Greater China, the Gas Treatment Project for JSW Dolvi India by ACRE stood out of 590 entries from 305 competitors and won the Honorary Award of the Special Category.

The project was completed with 3D design using the SmartPlant PPM technology. It involved 12 major units, over 160 mediums, more than 1,200 process equipment, over 2,400 measuring and monitoring points, as well as many high-temperature mediums. All majors worked collaboratively to complete the 3D modeling, and avoided 105 interferences in total. 3D design has promoted project management, design efficiency, and design accuracy. It also helps to attain economic benefits and make clients speak highly of the company.

The contest judges are well-kown specialists over the world in IT industry, who evaluated and reconginzed that the entry of ACRE was considered to be highly innovative and executive, as well as demonstrative to others in the industry. ACRE deserves this honor.
