Crude benzol hydro-refining
Crude benzol is another important by-product in coking process, and its hydro-refining plays a significant role in ACRE’s business. Over the past 70 years, ACRE has executed more than 80% of crude benzol hydro-refining projects across China and also been committed to developing new technologies and high-value-added products. Today the maximum capacity of crude benzol hydro-refining reaches 200,000 tons per year, with products quality meeting petroleum-grade standards and satisfying the feedstocks specifications for cyclohexanone, caprolactam, and adipic acid production.
Features:
1. Gas-phase hydro-refining
This process employs a specialized BASF catalyst, to offer high efficiency and a simpler operation compared with liquid-phase method .
2. Extractive distillation
The extractive distillation features a short flow and excellent separation.
The gas-phase hydro-refining and extractive distillation currently adopted by ACRE are mature and reliable, with successful reference plants; The technologies are entirely proprietary to ACRE and demonstrate broad adaptability, accepting either crude benzol or light benzol as feedstock.
